City chicken
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/2 lb ground veal
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs, divided
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- mix together pork, veal, 1/4 cup breadcrumbs, egg, and seasonings.
- form into 6 patties and pierce with wooden skewers.
- heat oil in large skillet over medium.
- spread remaining 1/4 cup breadcrumbs on a plate.
- press each patties into breadcrumbs and place in pan.
- Cook over medium until no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes per side.
