Macrobiotic Coffee Flavoured Whole Wheat Flour Almond Cookies

  1. Crush the almonds into small pieces.
  2. Preheat the oven to 160C.
  3. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix with a whisk.
  4. Add canola oil and maple syrup and combine evenly until it all comes together with your hands.
  5. Place on a kitchen bench top and roll it to about 5 mm thick.
  6. Cut into 2 x 3 cm pieces.
  7. Put them on a baking tray and bake in an oven preheated to 160C for 15 minutes at first.
  8. Then, turn them over and bake for another 15 minutes.
