Macrobiotic Coffee Flavoured Whole Wheat Flour Almond Cookies
- 60 grams Whole wheat flour (or cake flour)
- 60 grams Cake flour
- 15 grams Crushed almonds
- 2 tsp Instant coffee powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 3 tbsp Maple syrup
- 3 tbsp Canola oil
- Crush the almonds into small pieces.
- Preheat the oven to 160C.
- Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix with a whisk.
- Add canola oil and maple syrup and combine evenly until it all comes together with your hands.
- Place on a kitchen bench top and roll it to about 5 mm thick.
- Cut into 2 x 3 cm pieces.
- Put them on a baking tray and bake in an oven preheated to 160C for 15 minutes at first.
- Then, turn them over and bake for another 15 minutes.
