Red Wine Poached Pear Punch
- 1 bottle dry red wine, such as Chianti or Cabernet
- 2 cups pear juice
- 8 ounces vanilla vodka
- 2 pears, peeled, cored and sliced into wedges lengthwise
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- Two 12-ounce cans Canada Dry Ginger Ale
- Combine the wine, pear juice, vodka, pears and cinnamon sticks in a large bowl or pitcher.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Just before serving, add the Canada Dry Ginger Ale and stir gently.
