Strawberry Pretzel Salad
- 2 cups pretzels, crushed
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 3/4 cup margarine, melted
- 1 lg. strawberry jello
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 pkg. (10 oz. each) frozen strawberries
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 container (8 oz.) cool whip
- Put pretzels, melted margarine, and 3 Tbsp.
- sugar in a baking dish and bake at 400F for 8 minutes.
- Let cool.
- Dissolve strawberry jello in boiling water.
- Add partially thawed strawberries.
- Refridgerate for a few minutes.
- Mix cream cheese with sugar.
- Fold in cool whip.
- Spread over pretzels.
- Top with strawberry mixture.
- Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours before serving.
