Brown Sugar Fudge
- 1 cup sugar white
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup cream
- 3 tablespoons molasses
- 2 ounces chocolate
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup nuts
- Prewarm the thermometer in hot water; use a 2-quart saucepan; butter the upper sides (inside) of the saucepan.
- Measure all ingredients except the vanilla and optionals, and dump into the pan.
- Boil until gets to the ball stage.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls on sheet.
- Cool.
