Cream of Broccoli and Mushroom Soup

  1. In a medium sauce pan add butter and flour and cook roux until golden brown
  2. Add in onions and garlic and sautee for few minutes
  3. Add in broccoli and mushroom and sautee for another 3 minutes
  4. Add in water and chicken stock.
  5. Add in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Adding salt and pepper to taste
  7. Serve in a bowl with your favorite croutons and grate some marble cheese over the top.
