Tofu and Natto Chewy Okonomiyaki

  1. Slice the spring cabbage into 1 cm.
  2. Slice chikuwa into rounds.
  3. Add okonomiyaki flour, tofu, and water into a bowl.
  4. Whisk well.
  5. Combine with spring cabbage and natto.
  6. Stir well with chopsticks.
  7. Heat vegetable oil into a frying pan over medium heat.
  8. Pour half the batter into the frying pan and shape into a circle.
  9. Cover the pan to steam-fry.
  10. When the bottom is browned, flip over.
  11. Cover the pan again and continue to steam-fry.
  12. Make sure it's cooked thoroughly.
  13. Cook the other half as well.
  14. Dish it up and serve with okonomiyaki sauce.
