Best Ever Anzac Biscuits Recipe

  1. Combine oats, sifted flour, sugar & coconut in a large bowl; mix well.
  2. Place butter honey and treacle in a medium pan; stir over low heat till the butter is melted.
  3. Combine soda and boiling water in a small jug; pour into butter mix.
  4. Stir hot butter mix into dry ingredients; mix well.
  5. Spoon heaped tsp of mix about 3cms apart, onto greased oven trays; press down lightly.
  6. Cook in a slow over, 150 degrees C for about 20 mins or possibly till golden.
  7. Stand biscuits on trays for 5 mins; transfer to wire racks to cold.
