Sweet And Sour Pork

  1. Mix ginger with half the flour and coat pork.
  2. Heat oil in large frying pan; brown coated pork and remove from pan.
  3. Drain pineapple and reserve syrup.
  4. Add water to pineapple syrup to make 2/3 cup.
  5. (If not using pineapple, use 2/3 cup water.)
  6. Stir liquid into remaining flour.
  7. Add liquid mixture, vinegar and 2 tablespoons soy sauce to fat in frying pan.
  8. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  9. Add sugar, pepper and pork.
  10. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 1 hour over low heat.
  11. Add pineapple and green pepper and cook, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
