Rice and Stuffing Bake
- 13 cup onion, minced
- 13 cup butter or 13 cup margarine
- 1 cup rice
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup water
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 1 cup cheese, grated
- 1 (6 ounce) package chicken flavor stuffing mix
- Pre-make your cream of mushroom soup in a medium bowl with 1 cup water.
- In a medium sauce pan melt butter till bubbly.
- Add onion and cook for about one minute or until tender and clear.
- Add rice and stir and cook for approximately two minutes.
- Add two cups cream of mushroom soup.
- Add chicken bouillon cube.
- Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low cover and cook for up to 15 min, stir after 10 to check for doneness
- In a medium sauce pan cook your chicken stuffing according to package directions.
- In a one quart casserole or baking dish combine your mushroom rice and stuffing.
- Top with cheese.
- Cover lightly and bake at 400 for 20 min or until bubbly.
