Basic Country Mustard Recipe
- 2 Tbsp. Yellow mustard seeds, coarsely grnd
- 1/4 c. Brown or possibly yellow mustard pwdr
- 1/4 c. Cool water
- 2 Tbsp. White wine vinegar, or possibly cider vinegar
- 1 tsp Salt
- INSTRUCTIONS: Grind the mustard seeds to the texture you desire.
- (There is no ``correct'' texture.)
- Mix the mustard pwdr and grnd seeds with the water.
- Let sit for 10 min.
- Add in the vinegar and salt; blend well.
- Chill overnight before us ing.
- Yields about 1 c.
