Chocolate-Fudgy Caramel Bars

  1. Heat oven to 400F.
  2. Line 8-inch square baking pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan.
  3. Spray foil lightly with cooking spray; set aside.
  4. Melt 2 Tbsp.
  5. butter.
  6. Mix with graham crumbs and 1 Tbsp.
  7. sugar; press onto bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of pan.
  8. Microwave chocolate and remaining butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min.
  9. or until butter is melted.
  10. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
  11. Add 3/4 cup sugar; mix well.
  12. Blend in eggs and vanilla.
  13. Stir in flour until well blended.
  14. Spread half of the chocolate mixture over crust; set aside.
  15. Microwave caramel bits and water in small microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min.
  16. stirring after 1 min.
  17. Stir until caramel bits are completely melted and mixture is well blended; pour over chocolate batter on crust.
  18. Top with remaining chocolate batter and walnuts.
  19. Press walnuts lightly into batter to secure.
  20. Bake 15 to 20 min.
  21. or until center is set.
  22. Cool completely.
