Pasta with Walnut Pesto

  1. In a large pot of boiling, salted water, cook pasta.
  2. Drain; reserve some of the cooking liquid.
  3. Meanwhile, puree walnuts, packed parsley leaves, sage leaves, garlic, salt, pepper, and olive oil in a food processor until smooth.
  4. Toss with pasta, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, and about 1/2 cup of the cooking liquid to moisten.
  5. Serve, topped with more freshly grated Parmesan cheese and some chopped parsley.
