Molton Lava Cake
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 13 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
- 1 large egg large egg yolk
- 1 large egg yolk
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- Heat oven to 450F.
- Butter two 6 oz ramekins and dust inside with flour.
- Place the butter and chocolate in glass bow and microwave in 20 seconds intervals stirring after each until melted and smooth.
- beat the egg,egg yolk and sugar in a medium bowl until lighter in color and thick.
- add the melted chocolate and butter and beat until fully incorporated and smooth.
- divide the batter between the ramekins.
- bake until edges are set and center still jiggles slightly 8 to 10 minutes.
- let stand 15 seconds.
- run a knife around the edge
- invert each cake onto plate
- dust with confectioners sugar.
- serve immediatly.
- add mint or berries if desired.
