Beef Filets With Bearnaise Cream Sauce Recipe
- 6 beef filets, cut 1 inch thick
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 6 teaspoon dry sherry
- Trim fat from steaks, heat butter in skillet over high heat.
- Sear steaks on both sides till brown.
- Pour in sherry lower heat.
- Simmer 5 min for rare or possibly 10 min for medium.
- Remove to hot platter, spoon Bearnaise cream sauce over each steak.
- Serve at once.
