Sata Andagi Okinawan Doughnuts
- 200 grams White flour
- 2 Eggs
- 150 grams Sugar
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Combine the white flour and baking powder, and sift.
- Beat the eggs in a bowl.
- Add the sugar, and mix with a whisk.
- Add the oil, and continue mixing.
- Mix the Step 2 mixture into the Step 1 dry ingredients in 3 batches.
- Mix each time.
- Switch to a spatula, and fold it in!
- Let it rest for about 20 minutes in the fridge.
- You don't have to do it, but the dough will come together easily after this.
- Grease your hands with oil (excluded from the recipe), and roll the dough into balls.
- Deep-fry in oil at 160C.
- Deep-fry slowly at a low temperature.
- When the surfaces crack and become golden brown, they should be done.
- These ones have sesame seeds inside I just added 2 tablespoons of black sesame seeds into the dough!
- They are delicious.
- When you roll the dough into small balls, you can make about 50 pieces of bite-sized doughnuts!
- They are crispy and tasty.
