Dolmathes
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 cup yellow onion, chopped
- 1 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 12 cup pine nuts
- 14 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 3 scallions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons of fresh mint
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 12 teaspoon allspice
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 34 cup lemon juice
- leafy greens
- Combine all ingredients (first 12).
- With a 16 oz jar of grape leaves, remove stems, place shiny side down and wrap 1 Tbsp of mixture in leaf.
- Layer in a pot along w/ leafy greens & simmer in stock & lemon juice 1 hour.
- Allow to cool before transfering.
