Easy Homemade Donut Holes
- 1 can biscuits
- 1 cooking oil
- 1 sugar or
- 1 powdered sugar or
- 1 honey or
- 1 be creative...
- Heat the oil to 300F.
- I use a deep fryer for more even cooking.
- Once you open your can of biscuits, cut them into four equal pieces.
- I cut them like a pie.
- Once you've cut all your donuts, drop them easily into the oil one at a time, try to avoid over crowding.
- Also, drop donuts from close to the oil surface to avoid splashing yourself with the hot oil.
- They will cook for about 5-7 min.
- Halfway through cooking flip the donuts.
- They will float and need to be turned over to insure cooking thoroughly.
- Your donuts are done when they are a golden brown on both sides.
- I enjoy rolling my donuts in sugar and local honey that I melt together on the stove.
- Easier ingredients are powdered sugar, brown sugar, sugar, or even honey without any cooking allows for the kids to get involved.
- Be creative
- I have recently thought of using peanut butter, or nutella.
- Only not sure how yet to pull that off.
