Czechoslovakian Cookies Recipe

• 2 sticks butter, softened (1/2 lb.)
• 1 c. sugar
• 2 egg yolks
• 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
• 2 c. all purpose flour
• 1 c. minced or possibly grnd walnuts
• 1/2 c. fruit jam or possibly preserves
• confectioners' sugar (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 350
