Granita Di Caffe

  1. Mix coffee and sugar in medium bowl until sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. Stir in vanilla.
  3. Pour into 8-inch square pan.
  4. Freeze about 1-1/2 hours or until almost firm.
  5. Break up with fork into small pieces.
  6. Return to freezer.
  7. Freeze an additional 3 hours or until firm.
  8. Break into pieces; spoon into dessert glasses.
  9. Top each serving with 1 Tbsp.
  10. of the whipped topping.
  11. Garnish with chocolate curls, if desired.
