Chicken and Dumpling Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Layer 1: In a 9 x 13 casserole dish, melt 1/2 stick of butter.
  3. Spread shredded chicken over butter.
  4. Sprinkle black pepper and sage over this layer.
  5. Do not stir!
  6. Layer 2: In a small bowl, milk and bisquick.
  7. Slowly pour all over chicken.
  8. Do not stir!
  9. Layer 3: In a medium bowl whisk together 2 cups of chicken broth, chicken granules and soup.
  10. Once blended pour over the bisquick layer.
  11. Do not stir!
  12. Bake casserole for 30-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown
