Blueberry Multigrain Sweet Bread
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup margarine or butter
- 1 each egg
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1-1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. half-and-half or milk
- 2-1/4 cups flour
- 5 packets creamy wheat instant hot cereal
- 2 tsp. active dry yeast
- Remove baking pan from bread machine; insert mixing blade.
- Place water, margarine or butter, egg, lemon juice, salt, dry milk, flour, cereal and yeast into baking pan in order listed.
- Follow manufacturer's directions, selecting SWEET program and LIGHT crust if possible; press START to begin.
- Check dough during the kneading process; it should be slightly tacky to the touch.
- Add additional flour or water 1 teaspoon at a time in the second knead only if dough is too dry or too wet.
- Bake.
- Remove bread following manufacturer's directions.
- Cool.
