Berry Tea Fizz Recipe
- 1 pkt frzn raspberries - (10 ounce) thawed
- 1 quart boiling water
- 3 x family-size tea bags
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 can frzn limeade or possibly lemonade concentrate - (6 ounce), thawed, undiluted
- 1 bot lemon-lime soft drink - (2 liter) chilled
- Process raspberries in a blender, stopping to scrape down sides.
- Pour puree through a fine wire-mesh strainer into a large container, discarding seeds.
- Set puree aside.
- Pour 1 qt boiling water over tea bags; cover and steep 5 min.
- Remove tea bags with a slotted spoon, squeezing gently.
- Stir in sugar till dissolved.
- Stir in limeade concentrate and raspberry puree; chill.
- Stir in soft drink, and serve immediately over ice.
- This recipe yields about 4 qts.
- Yield: 4 qts
