Tex-Mex Pizza
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 12 cup pizza sauce
- 1 lb pizza dough
- 1 cup smoked chicken, chopped
- 12 sweet green pepper, chopped
- 12 cup frozen corn kernels
- 1 12 cups tex-mex cheese, shredded
- In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat and cook the onion, chili powder and oregano, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until softened.
- Stir in the pizza sauce and set aside.
- Spread the pizza dough over the bottom of a 12" pizza pan.
- Spread the sauce mixture over the dough.
- Scatter the chicken, green pepper and corn over the top, then sprinkle with the cheese.
- Bake in a 425 degree F oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
