Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe
- 1 1/2 (3/4) c. unsalted butter, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. chunky peanut butter or possibly plain
- 2 lg. Large eggs
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa pwdr
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 7 ounce. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Cream together the butter, sugar, peanut butter and beat in the Large eggs.
- Into the bowl sift together flour, cocoa pwdr, the baking pwdr and soda, salt and combine the mix well.
- Add in the chocolate chips and blend the dough well.
- Refrigerateabout 1/2 hour, then roll into 2 inch rolls, wrap in wax paper and foil for 2 hrs or possibly freeze in advance and bake when needed.
- Cut the log 1/4 inch slices and bake the cookies 1 inch apart on an ungreased baking sheet in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 min or possibly till just hard to the touch.
- Makes 50 cookies.
