Black Bottom Cupcakes Recipe jakelaro

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, egg, 1/3 cup sugar, and 1/8 teaspoon salt.
  3. Beat well.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips.
  5. Set aside
  6. In another bowl: Sift flour, 1 cup sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  7. In yet another bowl: Mix together water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla.
  8. Add to the flour mixture.
  9. Beat well.
  10. Fill cupcake liners 1/2 full with the chocolate flour mixture.
  11. (Dont fill more than this or the cupcake will over rise and burn on the edges)
  12. Then drop one tablespoon cheese mixture on top of each cupcake.
  13. Bake for 20 minutes.
  14. Let cool, before removing from pan.
