Au Gratin Potatoes

  1. Boil whole potatoes until soft but not mushy.
  2. Cool slightly, peel.
  3. In a medium saucepan saute green onions in 1/2 cup butter.
  4. Add soup, cheese and sour cream.
  5. Add milk and cook until smooth.
  6. Grating directly into the baking dish, layer potatoes and sauce making 3 layers.
  7. Top with crushed corn flakes tossed with 2 T.
  8. melted butter.
  9. Bake at 325* for 35 min or till cooked in the middle.
