STOVE TOP Easy Sausage Bake

• 1-2/3 cups hot water
• 1 pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Pork
• 1-1/2 lb. Italian sausage, cut into 1-inch-thick slices
• 1 large each: red and green bell pepper, sliced
• 1 large onion, sliced
• 1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce

1. Preheat oven to 400F.
2. Add hot water to stuffing mix; stir just until moistened.
3. Set aside.
4. Cook and stir sausage in large skillet on medium-high heat until evenly browned; drain.
5. Add peppers and onions to skillet; cook until vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.
6. Spoon sausage mixture into 13x9-inch baking dish.
7. Cover with tomato sauce and prepared stuffing.
8. Bake 25 min.
9. or until heated through.
