Apple Galette Recipe

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Arrange the pastry an a baking sheet, top with the apples forming concentric circles and sprinkle with sugar.
  2. Dot with the butter and bake for 30 min, or possibly till pastry is golden brown.
  3. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan combine the apricot preserves with the Calvados, bring to a boil and simmer for 2 to 3 min, or possibly till smooth and thick.
  4. Brush the apples with the glaze and transfer to a serving dish.
  5. Yield: 1 to 2 servings
