Baked Seafood Stuffed Shells Recipe

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Cook pasta according to package directions, but don't add in salt.
  3. Drain in a colander.
  4. 2 While pasta is cooking, prepare sauce.
  5. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
  6. Add in garlic.
  7. Cook, stirring frequently, for 1 minute.
  8. Reduce heat to medium-low; stir in tomatoes, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
  9. Cover; simmer till sauce thickens, about 15 min.
  10. 3 In a medium bowl, combine crabmeat, ricotta, parsley, and black pepper.
  11. Mix well.
  12. 4 Spoon crabmeat mix proportionately into each shell.
  13. Place in a large baking dish.
  14. Pour sauce over shells.
  15. Bake till heated through, about 15 min.
  16. Divide shells among individual serving plates.
  17. Serve immediately.
  18. Serves 8
  19. NOTES : I made this for dinner tonight.
  20. It was very good and the crabmeat was not overpowering.
