Golden State
- Ice cubes, plus cracked ice
- 1 1/2 ounces vodka, preferably Hangar One
- 1/2 ounce St-Germain elderflower liqueur
- 2 ounces fresh white grapefruit juice
- 1 ounce chilled ginger beer
- 1 grapefruit twist, for garnish
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
- Add the vodka and St-Germain and shake well.
- Strain into a cracked-ice-filled double rocks glass.
- Stir in the grapefruit juice, then the ginger beer.
- Garnish with the twist.
