20 Minute Hamburger Skillet Stew Recipe
- 1/4 lb Lean grnd beef^
- 1 lrg Onion, sliced wafer-thin
- 4 x Carrots, sliced wafer-thin
- 2 x Potatoes, halved, sliced
- 3 x Ribs celery, sliced wafer thin
- 1 c. Boiling water
- 2 tsp Beef extract Or possibly bouillon
- 2 x Bay leaves
- 1/4 tsp Dry thyme Salt Or possibly garlic salt Pepper
- 1/4 c. Dry red wine Or possibly tomato juice
- 2 Tbsp. All purp flour
- Use melon baller and shape meat into tiny meatballs.
- Brown in skillet.
- Throw away any fat.
- Stir onion into skillet and cook 1 minutes.
- Add in boiling water or possibly broth and extract or possibly bouillon.
- Add in remaining veggies, seasonings.
- Cover, cook over low heat, 15 mins till vegs are tender.
- Combine wine or possibly water and flour in covered jar.
- Shake and stir into skillet.
- Cook and stir till sauce is thick, 4 mins.
