Simple Rice Mix with Komatsuna and Pork Belly
- 2 head Komatsuna
- 100 grams Thinly sliced pork belly
- 1 dash Salt and pepper
- 1 Vegetable oil
- 1 Salt and pepper
- 1 tsp Sake
- 3 tsp Soy sauce
- 300 grams Cooked rice (warm)
- 1 Ground sesame seeds
- Separate the komatsuna leaves and stalks and chop into small pieces.
- Cut the pork belly into strips and lightly season with salt and pepper.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over a medium heat and cook the pork belly.
- When the pork is no longer pink, add the chopped komatsuna stalks and cook for a few minutes.
- Add the chopped komatsuna leaves and mix everything together.
- Add marked ingredients and combine well.
- Turn off the heat.
- Add the komatsuna and pork-belly mixture from Step 5 to warm, cooked rice and using a rice paddle or a spatula, folding thoroughly to combine.
- Sprinkle with the ground sesame seeds to finish.
