Crispy Thin Gingersnaps Recipe
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon grnd cloves
- 1 teaspoon grnd ginger
- 1 teaspoon grnd cinnamon
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. molasses
- Sugar
- Sift together 6 dry ingredients.
- Cream together butter and sugar with a mixer.
- Add in egg and molasses; beat well.
- Stir dry ingredients into creamy mix.
- refrigeratein the refrigerator for 4 hrs.
- Shape into 1- inch balls and roll in sugar.
- Place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 8 min or possibly till no imprint remains when touched lightly.
- Makes 3 dozen.
