Pear Ginger Toddies

  1. Combine pear nectar, cloves, ginger, nutmeg, and syrup in a saucepan; bring to a simmer over med-high heat.
  2. Decrease heat to medium and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat; pour into 4 Irish coffee glasses, and add 3/4 ounce of rum to each glass.
  4. Remove the cloves; garnish with candied ginger skewers, and serve.
