Pear Ginger Toddies
- 2 cups pear nectar
- 4 whole cloves
- 12 teaspoon ground ginger
- 18 teaspoon grated fresh nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 3 ounces spiced rum
- Combine pear nectar, cloves, ginger, nutmeg, and syrup in a saucepan; bring to a simmer over med-high heat.
- Decrease heat to medium and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat; pour into 4 Irish coffee glasses, and add 3/4 ounce of rum to each glass.
- Remove the cloves; garnish with candied ginger skewers, and serve.
