Tonnato Sauce

  1. In a blender or food processor blend tuna, mayonaise, deglazing liquid lemon juice, garlic paste, zest, and hot pepper sauce and stir in capers and salt to taste.
  2. Sauce may be made 2 days ahead and chilled, covered.
  3. Thin sauce to desired consistency with water.
