Mediterranean Cream With Chocolate Sauce Recipe
- 1/2 pound cream cheese
- 1/2 pound unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 2 ounce. orange liqueur
- 1/2 c. white seedless raisins
- 1/2 c. black currents
- 1 (6 ounce.) pkg. semi sweet chocolate
- Soften the cream cheese and butter to room temperature, approximately one hour.
- Beat the cream cheese and butter together in a mixer till it is a smooth creamy texture.
- Don't over beat.
- With the mix on slow, add in the sugar, lemon juice, orange liqueur, raisins, and currents.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Refrigeratethoroughly, about one hour.
- Heat chocolate over boiling water.
- Dish out the cream on a plate with an ice cream scoop and surround with chocolate sauce.
- Garnish with shaved chocolate.
- Serves 4 to 6.
