Sausage Rolls
- 1 pound Lean Ground Pork Or Sausage Meat
- 1 cup Bread Crumbs
- 1 whole Medium Onion, Finely Chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Chopped Parsley
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 1 package Pre Rolled Puff Pastry
- 2 Tablespoons Mustard
- 1 whole Egg
- Preheat your oven to 220c.
- (425 F.)
- Mix together the meat, breadcrumbs, onion, parsley and salt and pepper in a bowl.
- Lay sheets of pastry out on your counter top.
- Cut in to 3 sections width ways and 6 longways, this should leave you with 18 rectangles.
- (You can cut them larger so you get 9 from each sheet if you please) Do the same with the second sheet.
- Brush a little mustard on each (or how much you like!)
- Next get a ball of the meat mixture and place it on each pastry rectangle, then wrap the pastry around it like a cigar.
- Paint each one with beaten egg.
- Place in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes until brown.
- These are really good hot or cold and are totally spectacular with some A1 brown sauce
