Austria Viennese Coconut Macaroons Recipe
- 1/3 c. Butter
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 2 Tbsp. Heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 c. Flour
- 4 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1 c. Coconut
- 6 x Vanilla Wafers, crushed
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add in the well-beaten Large eggs, cream and vanilla.
- Sift the dry ingredients, and add in to the first mix.
- Add in the coconut and wafers.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls, 1 inch apart, on a greased cookie sheet and bake in a moderate oven till brown on top.
- 8-10 min.
