Soup for the Soul

  1. In a large dutch oven, heat bacon fat over medium heat.
  2. Add sausage meat and break pieces into a crumb texture.
  3. Once almost cooked through, add all the spices and seasonings.
  4. Add in your vegetables.
  5. Saute for three minutes.
  6. After three minutes, add in the chili sauce and Worcestershire.
  7. Now add beans and stock.
  8. Turn heat to low, cover pot and simmer for 45 minutes.
  9. Add in dry pasta and continue to simmer, covered for 15- 20 more minutes.
  10. Serve with a great crusty bread.
