Bacon and Tomato Strata
- 1 baguette (350 g), cut into 3/4-inch cubes
- 2-1/4 cups halved grape tomatoes
- 2 cups Cracker Barrel Shredded Light Double Cheddar Cheese
- 12 slices cooked 33%-less-sodium bacon, chopped
- 4 green onions, thinly sliced
- 10 eggs
- 3 cups skim milk
- 1/2 cup Miracle Whip Calorie-Wise Spread Family Dollar $3.50 thru 02/07
- Combine first 5 ingredients in large bowl.
- Whisk eggs and milk in separate bowl until blended.
- Stir in Miracle Whip.
- Add to bread mixture; mix lightly.
- Pour into 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; cover with foil.
- Refrigerate at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours.
- Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Bake strata 1 hour to 1 hour 5 min.
- or until top is golden brown and knife inserted in centre comes out clean, uncovering after 30 min.
- Let stand 5 min.
- before cutting to serve.
