CERTO Strawberry Freezer Jam

  1. Rinse clean plastic containers and lids with boiling water.
  2. Dry thoroughly.
  3. Stem and crush strawberries thoroughly, one layer at a time.
  4. Measure exactly 2 cups prepared fruit into large bowl.
  5. Stir in sugar.
  6. Let stand 10 min., stirring occasionally.
  7. Mix pectin and lemon juice in small bowl.
  8. Add to strawberry mixture; stir 3 min.
  9. or until sugar is dissolved and no longer grainy.
  10. (A few sugar crystals may remain.)
  11. Fill all containers immediately to within 1/2 inch of tops.
  12. Wipe off top edges of containers; immediately cover with lids.
  13. Let stand at room temperature 24 hours.
  14. Jam is now ready to use.
  15. Refrigerate up to 3 weeks or freeze up to 1 year.
  16. Thaw in refrigerator.
