Ribbon Jello Salad(Very Festive)
- 2 c. milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 c. water
- 16 oz. tub sour cream
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 box lime Jell-O
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. cold water
- Pour into dish and refrigerate until firm, about 1/2 hour. It must be firm.
- Then add 1 1/3 cups white sauce on top of lime Jell-O and put in refrigerator to set.
- Do the same with orange, lemon and cherry Jell-O alternating with white sauce each layer. Be sure Jell-O is set between each layer.
- This does take some time to make but it's a great dessert.
- It's always been a hit any time I've taken it to an event.
- Use your imagination.
- I have made it red and white only, in layers.
- Or use just your favorite flavors of Jell-O.
- Have fun!
