Steak House Wraps with A.1. Steak Sauce
- 3 cups yellow onions, finely chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 3 cups A.1. Original Sauce
- 1/4 cup DURKEE Hot Sauce
- - boneless beef sirloin steaks, 3/4 inch thick
- 1/3 cup oil
- 12 each large green peppers, cut into thin strips
- 24 each flour tortillas (8 inch)
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- Combine onions, steak sauce and hot sauce.
- Remove 1 cup of the steak sauce mixture (or 1/2 cup for trial recipe); set aside for later use.
- Grill steaks 8 to 9 min.
- for medium doneness, turning and brushing occasionally with the remaining steak sauce mixture.
- Cut steaks across the grain into thin strips.
- Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add peppers; saute 3 to 4 min.
- or until crisp-tender.
- Stir in the reserved 1 cup steak sauce mixture (or 1/2 cup steak sauce mixture for trial recipe) and the cooked steak strips; cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- Spoon about 1 cup of the steak mixture over each tortilla; roll up.
