Cheese Stuffed Pasta Shells
- 1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 c. water or 3/4 c. water and 1/4 c. wine
- 1 (15 oz.) container Ricotta cheese
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. manicotti
- Brown meat in a 2-quart casserole.
- Drain off fat.
- Stir in sauce.
- Cover with Saran Wrap and microwave on High for 4 to 6 minutes.
- Combine Ricotta and Parmesan cheeses, eggs and 1 1/2 cups Mozzarella.
- Stuff manicotti with cheese filling.
- In a 13 x 2-inch baking dish (sprayed with Pam), arrange manicotti in single layer. Add meat sauce to completely cover.
- Sprinkle remaining Mozzarella on top.
- Cover dish with Saran Wrap and cook on Medium-high for 30 to 35 minutes, rotating dish 1/2 turn during cooking.
- Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
- Makes 7 servings.
- Can bake in 350u0b0 oven for 45 minutes.
