Fritters (Pakorey)
- 1/2 kg Gram Flour / Grabanzo Bean Flour
- 3 medium Potato
- 2 medium onion, chopped
- 3 each Green Chilli
- 1 pinch baking soda
- 2 tsp Black Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 tsp White Cumin Seeds
- 1 tsp Coriandar Seeds
- In a mixing bowl, put in gram flour.
- Add enough water to make a thick paste.
- Remember, the mixture should NOT be runny.
- It must have a thick consistency
- In the mixture, add all spices.
- Set away for half hour
- Meanwhile, dice potatoes.
- Dices should be small.
- also chop onions and green chilies
- After half hour, add the vegetables mentioned in above steps into the mixture
- Bring oil to heat in a wok.
- In hot oil, using a spoon, toss the mixture.
- Keep them medium sized
- Fry the fritters till they are golden brown
- Dish them out on a plate lined with tissue paper to absorb excess oil
- Serve hot with a ketchup dip
