Peanut Butter Corn Chips
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup white Karo syrup
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 pkg. (16 oz.) corn chips (like Fritos)
- 1/2 cup cashews
- Butter a cookie sheet.
- Put corn chips (and nuts, if using) into a heat-proof bowl.
- Combine sugar and corn syrup in saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Boil for a minute, until sugar dissolves, add peanut butter and stir until melted and incorporated with sugar/syrup.
- Pour while hot, over chips and toss coating all chips.
- Form into small balls or clumps and place on cookie sheet.
- When cool, store in covered container.
