Microwave Lasagna

  1. Place ground beef and garlic in 2-quart casserole.
  2. Cook, covered, on full power for 4 to 5 1/2 minutes, or until beef is no longer pink.
  3. Stir halfway through cooking time.
  4. Drain.
  5. Blend in water, tomato paste, tomato sauce, oregano, salt, sugar, basil and pepper.
  6. Cook, covered, on full power 6 to 8 minutes, or until boiling.
  7. Stir halfway through cooking time.
  8. Blend cottage cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, egg and parsley flakes in a small bowl.
  9. Layer half of noodles in 2-quart utility dish.
  10. Spread noodles with half of cheese mixture, half of Mozzarella cheese and half of meat sauce.
  11. Repeat layers.
  12. Cover loosely with heavy-duty plastic wrap.
  13. Heat, covered, on full power for 13 to 16 minutes or until heated through.
  14. Sprinkle top generously with Parmesan cheese.
