Forgotten Cookies

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350F.
  2. Cover cookie sheet with waxed paper or parchment paper.
  3. Beat egg whites until stiff.
  4. Add sugar gradually, beating until stiff (BUT NOT GRAINY).
  5. Stir in food coloring, if desired.
  6. Add nuts and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto the cookie sheets.
  8. Place in oven and turn the oven off.
  9. Leave in the oven for 3-4 hours or overnight.
