Scotch Jam & Cheese Pastries

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Cream softened butter and cream cheese.
  3. Sift in flour and work in to butter mixture.
  4. Add cream and mix well.
  5. On floured board, roll out to 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Cut out into 4 inch rounds.
  7. Wet edges w/ cold water.
  8. Put a tsp.
  9. of jam in center.
  10. Fold over and press together.
  11. Place on greased baking sheet.
  12. Brush pastries with egg wash.
  13. Sprinkle w/ confectioners sugar.
  14. Bake 15 minutes.
